Founded by Aurelio Zanotta, since 1954 the company produced furniture and objects for the furnishings. With headquarters in Nova Milanese, Zanotta has quickly become one of the major protagonists of the history of Italian design, thanks to its philosophy of work based on a continuous activity of technological and stylistic research and experimentation. Some of the most famous architects internationallyHave collaborated with the company team: Achille Castiglioni, Marco Zanuso, Joe Colombo, Andrea Branzi, Carlo Mollino, Depas-D'Urbino-Lomazzi, Bruno Munari, Roberto Barbieri, Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, Alessandro Mendini, Giuseppe Terragni, Max Bill, Enzo Mari, Alfredo Häberli, Ross Lovegrove and many others. Armchairs, beds, chairs, tables and coffee tables, storage units, bookcases and furniture are part of the Zanotta collection. Some of these, in addition to winning three Compasso d'Oro in 1968, 1979 and 1987 and to be re-sold in more than 60 countries around the world, are present in the largest design museums such as the MoMA in New York, the George Pompidou Center Paris and the Design Museum in London.
